VitalityBurger Smash Burgers
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4 (makes about 8 small smash burgers)
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds Vitality Burger ground beef blend
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 4 brioche buns (or buns of choice)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- Pickles, sliced
- Shredded lettuce
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced red onions (optional)
- Butter or oil for griddle/pan
Instructions
- Prepare the Patties:
Divide the Vitality Burger ground beef into 8 loosely formed balls (about 3 oz each). Don’t overpack—you want them loose for better smashing and crispy edges. - Heat Your Griddle or Skillet:
Heat a cast iron skillet or griddle over medium-high to high heat. Add a light coating of butter or oil. - Smash and Season:
Place two or three beef balls onto the hot surface (work in batches if needed). Immediately smash each ball down firmly with a heavy spatula or burger press until they are very thin. Season with salt and pepper. - Cook and Flip:
Cook without moving for about 2 minutes, until the edges are crispy and the top starts to look a little cooked. Flip quickly, add a slice of cheese on top, and cook for another 1-2 minutes until melted. - Build Your Burger:
Toast the brioche buns lightly. Spread mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup on the bottom bun. Layer two smash patties per burger (for extra flavor and heft), then top with pickles, lettuce, tomato, and onions if desired. Add the top bun and serve hot!
These VitalityBurger smash burgers deliver crispy edges, juicy centers, and rich, beefy flavor—an unforgettable twist on a classic favorite!
