VitalityBurger Meatloaf
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour
Serves: 6
Ingredients
- 2 pounds Vitality Burger ground beef blend
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (or almond flour for gluten-free)
- 1/2 cup milk (or unsweetened almond milk)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup ketchup (plus more for topping)
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper. - Mix the Meatloaf:
In a large bowl, combine the Vitality Burger ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, oregano, and thyme.
Mix gently with your hands or a large spoon until everything is just combined—be careful not to overwork the meat, or it can become tough. - Shape and Bake:
Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing it down lightly to form an even loaf. Spread a thin layer of ketchup over the top for a classic glaze. - Bake:
Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). If desired, broil the top for 2-3 minutes at the end to caramelize the ketchup glaze. - Rest and Serve:
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a crisp green salad.
Enjoy a hearty, nutrient-packed take on a comfort food classic, powered by the wholesome goodness of VitalityBurger!
