Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Vitality Burger ground beef blend
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (or almond flour for gluten-free option)
- 1/4 cup milk (or unsweetened almond milk)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Olive oil for baking or frying
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. - Make the Meatball Mixture:
In a large bowl, combine the Vitality Burger ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, Parmesan, egg, garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix gently by hand or with a spoon until just combined—don’t overwork the mixture to keep the meatballs tender. - Form the Meatballs:
Roll the mixture into 1.5-inch balls (about the size of a golf ball) and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet. - Bake the Meatballs:
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the meatballs are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F). Optional: For an extra crispy outside, you can lightly pan-fry the meatballs in a bit of olive oil before finishing them in the oven. - Serve and Enjoy:
Serve the meatballs with marinara sauce over spaghetti, tuck them into subs with melted cheese, or enjoy them on their own with a side of dipping sauce!
